Grandma's Feather Bed - Juneau

Location is very close to the airport. it is very cozy. a first place had a strange view, there is in a corner with enough space to park for them. plus is next to another hotel that it is kind of confusing. the introductory pictures in google make them think they go to this great land hidden from outside, but when they enter is right there next to the road. when they enter is nice, the service is somehow ok. Previously better service seen, and if I say this is not the case that I need a red carpet, but they would get at least some social and soft skills before the door. it felt as if we had a question in a licor store and it is half answered with a posture. the room is 5. super clean, wide, roomy, bed is very large over everyone loves it. they call them after a call or if they want to eat breakfast there. unfortunately we had to go very early, but they took and went to snaks.

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon, staying four nights. We got their biggest suite, and it was just amazing. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the food was worth a trip all in its own, and it was just such a beautiful place to be in such a beautiful part of the world. The fact that we were just down the road from downtown Juneau and the Mendenhall Glacier both was icing on the cake.

Quiet cozy place with a wonderful atmosphere! The food is also divine! Great blue cheese dressing!! Best accommodation in Juneau!

This is our first trip to Juniau, and the staff of Grandma has made us feel like family. Tonight the cook went out of her way to prepare salmon fish and chips for us with their own recipe. It was the best meal of the trip and the best broken fish we ever had.

Stay here whenever in Juniau, great staff, very well furnished rooms. Large hot tub/shower and a rustic restaurant cooked with free hot breakfast to order. A real bargain in Alaska!
