Cooking classic French dishes such as gallets and crepes, always served on high standard with a smile. You have a wide range on both menus, normal children, and will change food orders if you want. They sell locally brewed apple wine and collected local honey. There is a waitress who went out of her way and could not do enough for the customer. There is a nice layout to the restaurant interior and exterior. Very family-oriented and definitely recommend that you come to Jumièges with a family.
Good food well presented well English spoken, very competitive, only a small moan, the service was a little slow.
Let us be clear: this is not a hot kitchen. I just stopped there because it was raining and I usually felt annoying so needed somewhere to dry out. But I was pleasantly surprised with the attitude of the staff and the atmosphere. For 11 euros I have a tartine, a sweet crepe and a tea (the selection of teas is great, they have a separate menu dedicated to teas! . And yes, the waiter has forgotten what I ordered, so I had to remember them twice. But then the lady came owner and apologized. And the foot was beautiful. And it was warm and dry. So practically no regret.
We took the first menu and then we are announced after the very bad pancakes that there is no longer a desert, but when we are going to pay we still count the full menus, it was still necessary to discuss for 1/2 euro... Finally it is a trade based on the fact that the tourists who come to visit the Abbey do not return every year.
Really a lamentable establishment that has everything to succeed by a unique location in an impressive setting. How can one spoil such an opportunity by making its customers wait a lot, a lot too long, and some have so tired that they have left their table! How to sell super-market pancakes for Breton cakes and Made-to-be wine for rosé wine.I unfortunately don't add it.
