Restaurant De L Hotel De L Ile

Ate here when we stayed in the hotel. Fred and Wendy are super hosts. We ate the set menu (2 adults and 2 children) choice of two starters, two mains and then lots of dessersts. We all loved the tomato tarte with St Nectaire cheese, the local melon with ham was also lovely. Ox xheek stew with pasta was brilliant, I had salmon which was extremely generous in size. Cheese was offered before the desserts. Desserts were great and all homemade. Whilst service is slow it does mean you can relax and just chat between courses. After all you are in the middle of the countryside so waht is the rush?! We all really enjoyed the meal and felt welcome and relaxed. The children loved all the food which is not often the case!

Discovered this super family run hotel and restaurant when on a motorcycling holiday in France. We had a great lunch on the veranda, great value to. It's located in the Auvergne lots of magnificent scenery also, a jewel of a small restaurant.

Nous avons déjeuner et dîner puis nous y avons dormi ..Moment chaleureux , excellent accueil chaleureux , repas soignés , chambres confortables .

Avons eu l impression d etre chez des amis qui nous auraient concocterun excellent repas:duo defooe gras,carre d agneau en croute d herbes ou st pierre aux morilles,delicieux fromage blanc et sa confiture de figues maison,farandole de desserts...ensuite repos dans une chambre agreable et confortableNe changez rien!!Bravo!!
