Belle Amies - Jorhāt

In the late nineties, this place was considered top-notch and the snack bar served delicious rolls in the style of Calcutta. However, it has since expanded into a fully air-conditioned restaurant, but the overall quality has noticeably declined. It is no longer anything special.

Way back in 2000-03, this was the most famous restaurant in Jorhat. Whenever we visited Jorhat from nearby small township, this was our food destination. We came back to this part of country again. Now Jorhat has many more restaurants. Visited this restaurant for old times sake. Sorely disappointed. It seems no renovation has taken place in all these years. The place feels stuffy, smelly and totally unwelcome. We did not like the food either. Perhaps it is still operating because of patronage by loyal clientele. However that may not be enough for long time unless some drastic measures are taken for improvement.

Resturent is good ,yamee food.oldest resturnt in jorhat town ,so food is amezing,i love this food ..

Have been visiting this place since childhood. Their chicken rolls are still to die for. They also offer bakery items. Located in the heart of Garh Ali, this place cannot be missed.

It was the only place to in Jothat where we could get chicken rolls way back in 1996.not much have changed all these years. Renovation shall attract more people.
