Suzanne's Natural Foods - Joplin

Suzanne’s is not my favorite business in joplin. they do not always have a plentiful amount of vegetarian/vegan food. tofurky deli discs always seem to be the pfeffer taste - I like it, but this type gives me sodburn. they also have limited amys articles. When I was there for the first time, I didn't feel welcome. also some of the employees do not seem to know how to use the computer very well. I prefer fox farm over suzannes.

This store has been a staple in my natural foods world for the past 7 years. The website is easy to navigate and any time I've needed advise as to what product may be the most beneficial to me I've been able to email the store directly and get a personalized recommendation back as to what supplements to use. I live close to this store, and was looking at their website to purchase a product. The online price was $28.79. The Retail Price was $35.99. I went in the store and bought it and the price was $37.99. I emailed them disappointed in that, if you live around here, you don't get the online price, and the price they charged me was higher than any of the prices listed. In checking their website today, they've increased all the prices for this product, and have not responded to my initial email. You can also purchase this product online for $22.79, which is where I will purchase it in the future. Also, while shopping at store asking for this product, the sales clerk pointed me to the feminine shelf saying, that is all we carry for that, and that was about all the help she had for me. She was not friendly. Not good customer service.

I stopped here on a cross-country ride, desperate for a meal with vegetables. The salad bar had everything I needed, including a delicious, fresh, crispy cal salad and some freshly baked beans. Also the price for the salad bar is good. For a salad and a bottle drink I spent under $10. Even the whole place just SMELLS like a natural grocery store, that was brilliant. Staff and clientele here are very COVID-safe, a rarity in Missouri and Central America. I really appreciated the whole mood of respectful, friendly people here. If you have been on the street for days, eat nothing other than bread and nuts, run in anti-masker dumpists at any row, stop here for a breath of relief.

Large health food shop with a small buffet in the back. We have filled our plates with healthy organic salad bar articles and with rice and beans and roasted potatoes and homemade whole grain bread. Hummus was excellent. We travel through and love to find healthy food on the street. Back!
