Saturday's Barbecue - Joplin

The portion of brisket on my sandwich was quite generous! I tasted it first without any BBQ sauce and found it to be flavorful, with a nice mix of juicy, dry, and fatty pieces. The price of the brisket sandwich was a bit on the high side at $10, especially since it didn't come with a side or drink. Overall, Eli's friendly attitude and his passion for BBQ make this place worth a visit! I'm planning to come back to Saturday's Barbecue when the full menu is available, as I’m eager to try the coleslaw, burnt ends, and that spicy/hot BBQ sauce. Don’t be deceived by the exterior. This is my favorite barbecue spot in Southwest Missouri. The best BBQ I’ve ever had sells out every day, and this is definitely one of those places.

I was traveling to Kansas City and decided to stop for a brisket sandwich and some coleslaw. The smoked flavor of the meat was absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend trying the hot BBQ sauce; it’s made from the peppers that are grown right out front. It has a great kick of heat while still packed with flavor.

Wow, these ribs were amazing! This place is basically a small shack on the side of the road, but let me tell you, the ribs are incredible—so tender they just fall off the bone. George really enjoyed them too!
