Awesome spot in the best location in Joplin. Staff is amazing and my only complaint is they make me not want to leave! Once they get a monthly or weekly tournament going again I’ll be here even more.

I went to work for Ruth and Jim about 50 years ago. I worked off and on through the years as a part time job. Several times Ruth has called me in the evening and either had someone​ quit, or had fired someone and needed me to come help out. Other times I needed some extra money and Ruth always found something I could do around there. I worked in the hay fields for them and even worked on the farm. That was long before the house was built there. Ruth and Jim Warden are two of the finest people I ever met. Now her daughter and granddaughter have stepped in to keep the tradition going. If you have not been to the OK bar you need to go. Can almost guarantee you that you are going to love it.

This place has been a great place to get together with friends of mine to go to just play some pool, BS amongst ourselves and with others, get my lips wet with this or that, and while I'm there chat with some of the staff there who have always been very friendly and personable. Of course I would give one of them named Ricky who has been there forever and a day. He is a good guy and does a damn good job from what I have seen, but don't be an idiot there.

My best friend and I love going to play pool there. We suck at it, but we love it. The staff and atmosphere are great. It's nice to go into a place and the staff knows who you are and what you drink when you walk in the door.

OK bar is an awesome place to go. The staff is awesome. The pool tables are great. It's a nice place to go and chill with your friends!
