Maria's Mexican Grill Cantina - Joplin

Seating was readily available, and the waitress was patient and attentive throughout the meal. The salsas were fresh and delicious; I enjoyed the combination of the mild and hot salsas for an excellent balance of flavor. I found the hot salsa to be more on the medium side in terms of heat, but it stood on its own quite well. The chili enchilada sauce was fantastic, with a delightful smoky flavor. The roasted pork had a smooth consistency, and the rice complemented the meal perfectly. This was my first visit to Maria’s, but I will definitely be back.

Maria's is undoubtedly one of the best Mexican restaurants in Joplin, and in my opinion, it might just be the finest. The mild table salsa is smooth and flavorful, while the hot salsa offers just the right amount of heat for those who enjoy a spicier experience. I like to mix the two salsas together for a perfect blend of flavor and warmth! The food is always delicious, served hot, and maintains its temperature well as you start to enjoy your meal.

Maria's is a wonderful place to unwind and savor delicious food with friends and family or grab a quick lunch. The ceviche is outstanding, and the drinks, including margaritas and sangria, are fantastic as well! We consistently receive excellent service, enjoy fresh food, and appreciate the generous portion sizes at reasonable prices. I also love supporting this locally owned and operated establishment.

I had the tacos cozumel (tilpia) on blue mais tortillas with a side of kalkkeilen, and it was delicious! our waitress was amazing and it was a really good culinary experience.

Chips and salsa were great. Nice clean restaurant. Grilled chicken is awesome. Kids and everyone were happy. The bar is also nice.
