Big R's Bbq Pies - Joplin

They are Tower-O-Rings was absolutely amazing. 10/10. I would have to say some of the best wobble rings I've ever had. they are steakburger also very good. you could say that they really use good food. the atmosphere was great and the waiting staff was very nice. I heard them say they are like a large disfunctional family! I loved my first time here!

We took a day trip to joplin for our jubilee celebration and discovered big r’s bbq. we were very happy! eating was awesome! all sides were scratched and the cake was excellent! so glad we tried this restaurant! Now we know a great place to stop when we go through joplin!

Okay, while I didn't go there myself, some friends brought me a chocolate cake from this place and because chocolate cake is my favorite (chocolate cake is what I have on my birthday instead of cake) I thought I would give my two cents. the chocolate cake was really good. well done. and travels well. and keeps well in the refrigerator several days. a thick crust and what I would call “sturdy fill” help in this area. the torte was a little on the dark side of the chocolate cake for my taste, and the filling was more “sturdy” than I like, but I am part of my wife homemade chocolate cake. for a load bought cake, the definitiw not frozen, super.

Service was very good and the foods are delicious. Definitely, we will comeback there. Because I will try their pinacolada pie. So, I got two meat are brisket and ribs with two sides for $16.95. Yummmmmm.........

Big r's is best bbq in joplin. Love the potato salad and beans. I had chicken fried Chicken so good fried with light batter and gravy is perfect. Portions are big and great as leftovers later. If you go must try the pie made by scratch. 2nd meal is burger with onion ring on it very juicy and fresh. I miss this restaurant and is a gem for bbq in joplin.
