La Pupusera: Salvadorian Mexican

The food isn’t terrible, but the service is incredibly slow. I waited 30 minutes for my order, and the restaurant was nearly empty. If you’re in a hurry, this place isn’t ideal. Honestly, it’s not worth the wait. The service also left much to be desired; I kept asking how long it would take, and they kept saying "soon." It felt like they had a kid packing the food, with one hand asking the other for permission to move.

The chicken tamales here are exceptional. My family, originally from El Salvador, really enjoys them. While pupusas often receive a lot of scrutiny from the community, I think they are pretty good, though I would suggest adding a bit more filling.

Must be the best kept secret about local dining.. Honduran Guatemalan Salvador plates, rich palate of variety of lemon limey dishes with a whole array of the most amazing blend of Central American flavor.. made us feel like we were on a mini vacation. Definitely our New favorite place.

They need more dining space, especially for families and groups.

This is the best place for pupusas! I really hope you consider expanding the restaurant.
