Great food, great service, very clean and fast to serve your food. You have menus in English and can also speak in English. Very friendly people with great food you won't see anywhere else!
Get in the wall Arta place, small but cozy family own/running facility. At first glance, I was deceived by the facade, but when I entered, I was surprised by the freshly renovated modern interior. There was immediately the feeling of comfort, staff was very friendly and welcoming. It has a variety of foods for every taste from tacos to pupusas. Pupusas were on the small side for my loved ones, but were very tasteful I just had to order an additional one to get full. Second time, I only had to try some tacos because many places in the Joliet area have failed badly on the most basic and well-known Mexican foods and have not disappointed them. I would recommend it if you were in the area.
Put the kind of food they sell here, this place always meets the brand. From Pupusa to other ethnic dishes, tastes are amazing and quality is there. Food is fresh and hot always ready to be picked up and enjoyed half an hour later when I get home, yes I am ready to drive half an hour for this place is so good. Paragraph the people inside are masked, food is perfectly prepared prices are fair and you pay for essentially homemade ethnic foods that you can get nowhere else. Vegetables are crisp and bright and everything is hot fresh and ready to enjoy.
I'm a Salvadoran from Long Island, where many pupusas places exist. Not too many options in Illinois, so I was excited to try La Pupusera and it did not disappoint. Delicious and completely worth the trip. Will definitely comeback again for the Pupusas and the Horchata Salvadoreña.
