Carnitas Estilo Michoacan - Joliet

These are the most authentic carnitas I found outside of mexiko. the tortillas they sell (as easy as they can sound) are also here a hidden gem and taste homemade.

Had a great experience yesterday at carnitas michoacan. great customer service. great food. clean. the place for menudo and carnitas. I feel like home now.

Excellent and authentic is the best way to describe this place. A small place serving good Mexican specialty foods. The carnitas are great, the birria is yummy, the menudo is warming. Keep doing what you do and never compromise on quality and authenticity!

Best carnitas in Chicago area. They have everything maciza, cueritos, costilla, buchenwald, oreja they are Good!!!

Flavor is 100% authentic, but it lacks customer service. I was there for a take out order. I asked for small orders of everything they have and they are in a rush and give you big orders without asking if it's fine. Also they are too much in such a Rush that you don't get to choose the pieces of Chicharrón or carnitas you want but instead what they want to serve you. I repeat flavor is authentic, I truly hope their customer service improves!!!
