Big Apple Pancake House - Joliet

This place was horrible! My husband and I were both sick later that day. His waffle was cold, sausage must have been spoiled! My skillet looked like dog foot, presentation was horrible! They burned my pecan roll. The experience was terrible! I wish I couldgive no stars! The waitress was nice and worked really hard!

Come here regularly and their food is delicious. Breakfast is my favorite meal . Omelets are delicious and ingredients fresh. Love the corned beef hash. They also serve lunch and have a good variety of sandwiches, wraps, and panini's.. Familyrestaurant with friendly staff .

I had a terrible experience at this diner due to the awful customer service. Instead of focusing on their work, the waitresses spent their time discussing their personal lives, which was quite unprofessional. One waitress even started dry heaving, which completely ruined my dining experience. To make matters worse, both the hostess and the waitress were talking about customers while they were still present. I will not be returning to this diner, and neither will my family. It's important to note that the waitress who served us was not the issue; it was the heavier set hostess and the heavier set waitress who were chatting about their nights out while dry heaving in the kitchen next to the customers. Make sure to avoid this place if you value good service!

They didn't have soup, so they suggested a salad, which was fine. I also ordered a Texas burger, I believe that's what it's called, and it was quite good. I asked for it medium rare, but it seemed like the cooks only seared it. However, the overall experience was delightful. The waitress was really friendly. I will definitely be returning soon.

ZERO STARS!! I can't tell if it was just a bad day or a common occurrence, but this was my first and definitely my last visit. During my time there, I dealt with a sticky table, dirty silverware, and a water glass that had crusted residue. The service was lacking, both in efficiency and customer relations. I can't comment on the food because I found a dark hair in mine. I'm blonde and don't have any dark hair, but instead of addressing the issue, the staff chose to argue about it. Given all of that, I give ZERO stars and will never return or recommend this place to anyone.
