Alzada's Carryout - Joliet

I visited this restaurant for the first time a couple of months ago, and after my experience, I wished I had gone to my usual spot instead. I wanted to give this place a chance, so I called in my order. The woman who took my call informed me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived exactly on time, only to wait an additional 20 minutes. During that time, they prioritized walk-in customers over my order. The woman at the front register was quite rude and seemed to have a bad attitude. She didn't seem to understand that first impressions matter. As for the mac and cheese, it tasted nothing like mac and cheese—it was inedible for both me and my child. Overall, that was my first and last visit. The negative attitude right from the start really left a bad impression.

The food is tasty, but the tip size is absurd, especially considering that half of the meal is just gristle, bone, or fat!

I ordered the rib tip dinner with pound cake, and I honestly feel like I wasted almost twenty dollars. The mac and cheese was good, but everything else was terrible. I expected the ribs to be properly cooked, especially since the grill was on when I arrived.

Visited on 7/17/2021. Customer service ???? on par with Chic fil a service. Food is even better ! Big servings, we were too full to finish. They put tips on the fries. I thought big mistake. NOPE. They were ????. Tip juices and sauce painted the friesperfectly. The food was fresh and hot. Could not believe how juicy the chicken was but yet perfectly fried ! The chicken andalso corn muffin were the best we?ve ever had. This will be our go to forsure . glad we tried it.
