Vegan Town - Johnson City

The food was really good the first time. The second time the waffles were hard as a rock and literally cut my mouth. The smoothies are very good. The prices are a little high.

Food is extremely overpriced for the taste and quality. The quesadilla is so small ? think size of a corn tortilla and looks nothing like the picture advertised. Quesadilla comes with a handful of smashed tortilla chips and served in a styrofoamcontainer. $3 cookie is the size of two quarters put together and was old or something as it crumbled to sand when I opened it.

I?ve been to vegan town plenty in the past but something has changed lately. I got a pataya bowl and it was not that. It was nothing more than a smoothie that seemed to be missing half the ingredients I regulated. For $9 plus tip I think they couldtake the effort to at least add everything.

I went here around 4:30 pm today for an Açaí smoothie bowl. When I ordered and asked about toppings, the worker seemed kind of confused and just told me what already comes in the bowl. Then after he made it he said he could put blueberries on it and Iasked if he had any kiwi or anything like that. He said no, and when I asked what all my options for toppings were, he saidblueberries and mango. So I said not to worry about it. While the smoothie base was very delicious and the store was clean andthe employee nice, it just wasn?t what I was expecting, especially for $9.50. I was expecting to be able to put strawberries andbananas and honey and chia seeds and kiwi on top of the smoothie BOWL. I essentially paid for a smoothie?. But in a bowl insteadof a cup.

Sooo good ???? bowls are super cute but make eating a two handed job for sure. Great lunch on a hot day!
