Misaki Japanese Steakhouse

The portions were quite small, and it seemed like the regulars at the other end of the grill were getting much more generous servings. My wife and I felt that what we received was barely enough for one dinner. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. On a more positive note, the server was very nice and polite.

I chose this restaurant because Moto's closes early for steam cleaning on Monday nights. I had been craving Japanese food all day, so I decided to give this place a try, but I will never do that again! It was by far the worst Japanese food I have ever had. I ordered Yaki with zucchini and onions, and it was so dry that I had to smother it in the shrimp sauce, which also lacked flavor! I took two bites, removed the onions and zucchini, and ended up giving the rest to my dogs!

We genuinely gave it a shot, but our experience fell short. There are no alcoholic beverages available, and the choices for soup are limited to just beef broth—no miso, mushroom, or onion options. The ginger dressing resembled apple butter and had an unpleasant aftertaste. The staff was quite pushy, urging us to hurry up and place our orders, which added to the discomfort. While it might be suitable for families, it’s not the atmosphere I'm accustomed to. There was no sushi, limited soup options, and no sake. I also dislike being rushed, especially as a new customer. Perhaps it was just an off day, but I won't be returning to find out.

In addition to offering delicious food, the ambiance is lively and enjoyable.

I can't praise Misaki enough! It's my favorite spot to visit whenever I'm back, and it never lets me down. The food is amazing, and the service is excellent! If you haven't been there yet, you're really missing out!
