El Charro - Johnson City

Very good breakfast. The little one enjoys the fried cube potatoes. I also enjoy my big land breakfast. The waiter was really nice. When I go through Johnson City, Texas to 281 N. A place to stop.

While traveling to Austin, we had a delicious meal with great service at this restaurant. We tried the Queso, Migas, Picadillo Burrito, and Monterrey Chicken. We will definitely be coming back again.

While in Texas, I was craving an authentic Mexican meal and I was not let down. I enjoyed my dining experience so much that I ended up having both lunch and dinner at the same restaurant on the same day. You will not be disappointed!

Good food: had Carnitas Burrito, and Wifey had grilled beef quesadilla plates. Chips and salsa are freshly produced. New: You now have alcohol in the menu (only beer).

This place is really good. I put it against any Mexican restaurant in Austin. It would beat out a lot of them out. The prices here are very reasonable too. I had their street tacos and lemonade. They were freaking awesome. The lady that took care of us was super friendly and the cook was funny. We could hear him singing while he prepared our food. Happy cook great food.
