Vincent's - Johns Island

My family and I get all our prescriptions filled at Vincent's Pharmacy in Freshfields, including those for our pets! Vincent's is a fantastic, family-owned pharmacy located in Freshfields Village. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and willingly provide recommendations for changing brands or strengths of prescriptions (with approval from your doctor) to help you find the best price for your insurance. I have never encountered pharmacists who take such a personal interest in both my health and my budget like those at Vincent's do. Additionally, Vincent's offers a wide selection of over-the-counter medications, gifts of various kinds, and household supplies. While their prices for OTC medications may be higher than those at big box stores or online, the personalized service and care make it worth it.

This place is really fun and charming! I ordered the Brown Cow (a root beer float), and it was so yummy! I also found some local gifts for friends. I love the wide variety of items they offer in this store. The other ice creams looked delicious as well!

I've only tried their milkshakes, and let me tell you, they are fantastic! The classic flavor has a rich coffee taste paired perfectly with the smoothest vanilla ice cream. Even though I'm not a big milkshake enthusiast, I can genuinely recommend this one. However, I still find it too sweet to finish an entire cup by myself. Luckily, I'm always happy to sneak some sips from my boyfriend's order. The rest of the place is a charming and well-kept local drugstore that has all the essentials for your Kiawah vacation. They also offer a great selection of souvenirs and small gifts. It's definitely worth a visit if you happen to run out of sunscreen or Neosporin!

Vincent's Drug Store and Soda Fountain at Freshfields Village on Johns Island is a great place for a pharmacy and soda and ice cream all in one location that is a fun and unique experience. I really like the location and atmosphere here that makes everything special. I have had a really good experience here.

During our vacation in Kiawah Island, we needed to pick up a few items and came across Vincent’s Drug Store. We were delighted to discover the charming, old-fashioned soda fountain area next to the pharmacy. Not only was it lovely, but it was also impeccably clean! It was a wonderful experience, and we can't wait to return!
