1188 Brewing Company - John Day

Good food and great atmosphere! The beer is also quite good for a small city craft. Super nice staff, very professional, but BUSY. Be patient, it's worth it. I wasn't disappointed.

I've heard about 1188 from other people and have driven by it several times on my way to and from Eastern Oregon. My wife and I decided to stop by this time on the way to and also on the way back from Sumpter. My wife had a couple of the specialty drinks and I had the Rye IPA. The food was excellent. We both had hamburgers made with Kobe beef. The waitresses were great and wait time perfect. We highly recommend 1188

Great service and fabulous chicken wings. Ordered the plain wings and they were anything but plain. Most and subtly favorable. Cool pub!

Excellent food, friendly atmosphere that welcomes all! My French dip was delicious and the girls Mac n cheese came with a beautiful fruit and veggie plate. Last but not least the beer and cocktails were great too. Definitely will be back!
