The Great Eastern Food - Johannesburg

We loved the food. We loved the different style of Asian cuisine that we don't get in our area. The Ceviche trout sauces were delicious and out of this world.

One of my favorite dinners in Joburg. Visit the Melville branch, but for the first time at the new location in Illovo. The food was still as good as I remember. The sashimi tacos and dokbokki always meet the point. Try it anyway. The service was a little slow when I left, but good food. Had the dumplings in Tom Yum, was spicy but good. The Hibiscus panna cotta Dessert was also delicious. Another favorite.

Food was amazing. Went for a quiet Saturday lunch and was not disappointed. Had the Dan Noodles and the Ginger Scallion Noodles and could easily help 2. Service was great, fast enough that we did not starve, but not attentive, what would have ruined the mood. Will definitely go back.

Friendly service and really tasty food. Even if you're not a big Asian fusion cuisine fan I'd still give it a try. Try get a seat overlooking Rustenburg Rd so you can watch the cars go by.
