Kauai Rosebank - Johannesburg

There are positives and negatives here. Positives: As expected, the food is fresh and tasty. I had the Spicy Burrito wrap and Peanut butter and berry smoothie. Both tasty. The Negatives: 1. Don't come here if you're hungry. The wrap which cost R90 was not filling and I'm not even a big guy. That being said quality does trump quantity here. Smoothie averages R58. 2. I was given my wrap in a take away packet even though I was sitting in. I also received no cutlery. 3. Decor could do with a bit of livening up as the ambiance is a bit sad. All in all its nice to have Kuai as a healthy alternative from the other fast food franchises

Wraps and Burgers are absolutely delicious. I have been ordering here for the past year and the team at Rosebank have been consistently delivering excellent quality food and customer service. Thanks to Zanele, Suzan, Pumedza and Drivers.. Keep up the excellent work. Attached are pictures of the Steak and Avo Wrap and the Normal Burger. I have been only using the Kauai App for my orders and purchase subscriptions which offer great savings on wraps, coffee and smoothies.

I had zero issues with my order and customer service. Staff were friendly, got exactly what I ordered. I ordered the Chipotle Steak wrap which was delicious. I also ordered the smoothie with all of the greens in it. Overall I'm happy.

Went here to try the new burger, had the cheese one. Service was good and they made everything fresh in front of me too. The Burger itself was very tasty and fresh. Loved the bun, it was sturdy enough for the salad inside and not become soggy, but at the same time soft and fluffy to the bite. Good tangy hit from the salad to counter quite a meaty patty. The patty was medium (just perfect), charred on the outside too and moist inside. It was a nice thickness too, not one of those smashed burgers. PS: the burger tasted fresh after a while too, as I had this burger as a take away. Imagine if I had it hot then and there! All in all, a good, fresh tasting burger, which I would have again. Oh by the way, I also loved the way the wrapped the burger before packing it as a take away.

Chipped plates, cutlery looks bad; not a good way to serve food like this.. 1 year update: this brunch becomes even worse.. portions are much smaller then in other kauai brunches ; this particular oats becomes like two tbsp of oats; bad experience, do smth with this brunch, won’t come again.
