My take away medium size latte costed me $4.80 ($4.10 for a small and $5.20 for a large), wasn't it expensive? The 2.5/5 was purely for my coffee; the milk texture was nice and creamy and the temperature was right for me; unfortunately the coffee shots were weak and probably the lack of pouring technique took away all the creama and strong coffee flavour.
Not really my first choice for breakfast, but it was a public holiday & my friend wanted to do some shopping after, so ended up here. It was 8:30 in the morning, the place was surprisingly busy for this time of the day. Neither the food nor service was particularly good, very average, not particularly offensive, but nothing particularly enjoyable either.
This is my favourite Coffee Club. Fast, tasty and friendly. Decent coffee. This CC had got a flair the others don't. Also the quietness of the DFO does them favours, a comfortable dining experience. sweettoothbeliever.blogspot.com
Catching up with a friend occasionally have met midway about 4 times at the Jindalee Coffee Club....but never again!! The counter service is peremptory, Seniors discount (a big help in my situation) was grudingly given at 5% when the norm is 10% at CC's and a smile and nice tone won't kill anyone! A couple of younger male table staff were diligent but there was no friendly interactions as evident in many cafes. I wondered if this was a direction from management (the counter experience being reinforced). I had a bruschetta that had the smallest poached egg ever seen with so little tomato topping I thought I might choke on the dryness of the bruschetta. Lemon meringue pie was so old and stale that the lemon filling had all but compacted into a tasteless lump. Food was extremely disappointing given previous visits BUT the service remains the more disappointing and is misapplied to this cafe when thinking in the context of hospitality!!!
Diana. Shopping at the DFO usually means a rest with a magazine & caffiene fix to recover from shopping overload!! Got my fix here, but had to pay the price $4.60 for a double shot flat white. Really! I mean if the coffee was extracted properly I shouldn't need a double (don't need it at my fave cafe's-see my best coffee list) The staff need to smile a bit more too life surely isn't that bad at the Coffee Club??
