Vu Hyatt Jersey City

The restaurant is located inside the hotel, which is why we chose to stay here for a wedding. We arrived at 10pm from Connecticut and were pleased to find that the Vu Lounge was still open. Although they stop serving food at 10:30pm, the waitress kindly allowed us to seat ourselves despite the late hour. My wife ordered the Caprese Chicken (GF) and thoroughly enjoyed it. I opted for the Tomato Basil Soup and the Vu Burger. The soup was full of flavor and remained hot until I finished it. The Vu Burger was delicious, cooked to perfection as I had ordered it medium. I highly recommend these two items from the menu. The next morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the breakfast buffet, which according to the website is only available on Saturdays and Sundays, was also open on Friday. We were prepared to order off the menu, but decided to try the buffet instead. The eggs, bacon, and potatoes were simple but well-prepared. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was just how I like it, and the potatoes were delicious with the addition of onions and peppers. Overall, it was a satisfying breakfast experience.

Great for business meals while looking at the World Financial Center over the Hudson River,

Essentially this is a hotel lobby restaurant, view is great food not that great friendly but slow service.

Though the food was good, the view was the star of the show. Panoramic views from The Statue of Liberty to the Freedom Tower, you're just mezmerized. And Gabriel was not only a great server, he's an excellent photographer as well. What an amazing brunch with out of town friends.

Reservation asked if was a special occasion, answered yes.. Anniversary. We were celebrating our 60th, but now mention or special treat. Why do you ask? Also the credit card machine was not working, so we had to pay cash. We did enjoy our meals and the scenery.
