The Cottage - Jersey City

This restaurant was excellent. The garden in the back was very comfortable and private. The food was excellent. Both of our sandwiches were seasoned well and very delicious.We also got the stuffed croissant with cookie butter and it was amazing. 10 outta 10 would highly recommend. My old feedback would be maybe some music in the garden for a little extra added ambiance. But that's it. We had a fantastic lunch and will definitely be back next time we're in the area. I didn’t expect a lot because of the area. The tables were rustic but still skeptical until we got the food. It was very good.

Delivery through Uber. Egg sandwich with turkey sausage wasn’t. It was a couple dry slices of thick roast turkey, which clashed with a breakfast sandwich. Grilled cheese bread was uncooked, poor quality white bread with almost no cheese and 3 grape tomatoes. Spinach and cheese tart was inedible. Frozen spinach, burnt phyllo. I don’t know what they have against me, but it’s a hard pass ever again.

Quite backyard like my russian grandma’s summer house. I tho think their coffee is inconsistent and sanitary isn’t all on point. I still love coming in here and I appreciate them using farm products and flowers in the backyard are

I really like this place. I’ve been ordering online for pick up since a week ago. The iced coffee, croissants and cream cheese Danish has a way better taste than what I used to order from Starbucks. Highly recommended!
