Paulie’s Brickhouse - Jersey City

I visited the rooftop for the first time on July 22, 2023, for a birthday party. I ordered the "drink in the bag," but it wasn't worth the price. There was barely any alcohol, and they filled it with so much ice that it got watered down even more. I also tried ordering a regular drink in the small cups, but it was just as disappointing. I would recommend sticking to beer or wine instead. Service rating: 2/5.

Paulie’s serves up some impressive cocktails, but what keeps me returning year after year during the spring and summer is the hidden gem of their rooftop bar, which is absolutely stunning at night. When they open around 7 PM, the staff will escort you through a separate entrance that leads to an elevator. Once you reach the rooftop, you're greeted with breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, paired with refreshing, strong drinks to enhance the experience. They even package some of their drinks in bags, adding a unique twist to the whole outing.

I visited Paulie's to celebrate my husband's birthday while watching the boxing match. We love that it's close to our home and offers a beautiful view.
