I suggest they try venturing elsewhere, especially given that Jersey City boasts a vibrant history of amazing coffee, particularly from Latin America. There are plenty of other options that are far superior to this pretentious and gentrified establishment. The service can be quite disrespectful as well, particularly from the white male at the register, who comes off as passive-aggressive. Here’s a tip: there are many great coffee shops in Jersey City that are cozy and welcoming!
I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the coffee is excellent! It's a charming little café that's worth a visit.
Everything about this place is fantastic. We tried the house mix hot latte and a pour-over Panama Gesha, and both were exceptional. They were definitely the highlights of our trip! The decor is incredibly cool and relaxed, making it a perfect spot to spend the day. The barista, or owner, was very knowledgeable and skilled. He was the only barista we encountered on our trip who invited us to smell the coffee after it was ground and during the second drip process. If we could give this place a rating of 10 out of 5, we absolutely would!
I recently tried the secret affair espresso mix. it is an unbelievable daily coffee. bright and fruity and also dark and rich. good price point and much with this.
What a great experience. Friendly staff great coffee. Travas from the UK ?? gave me a tour of his roasters i loved it and the smell is out of this world. Would highly recommend.
