Bistro La Source - Jersey City

Chicken breast sandwich was simple and good would have liked a sauce in it came with yummy crisp outside soft inside fries. The French toast was delicious with a good amount of strawberries and blueberries. Lucky her syrup was really maple syrup.

We usually love the chocolate mousse here, but went the other night to get some to go and it was soupy and runny and not good. We went back to tell them and they just said they?d tell the manager. No offer to replace. For the price, it was very frustrating and disappointing to not be able to enjoy the dessert.

My favorite neighborhood restaurant! Our favorites: lamb sliders (so juicy with a kick , mussels (fresh and tender with great sauce! , foie gras (just a gem! , and the fried chicken (super juicy, not overly salty like others, hearty, and the salad is great too! . I am also a fan of the quails and the sides that come with it.

Great little french place with really good food and friendly staff. They have outdoor seating in little heated igloos that look really cute but it was too cold when we went so we sat indoors. The food was delicious and well presented. We loved the mussels so much that we ended up ordering another one. The cocktails were strong and tasty and they also have a decent collection of wine. Only thing missing is a section on their menu showing the sides you can order. I had to look at the sides that came with different dishes to find the ones I wanted to order. I did point it out to our server so hopefully they update their menu.

Had a relatively okay experience overall. Meal options: Meal was okay. Complementary bread came after the meal had been served which was a bit annoying considering they served other customers that arrived later than I did before the servers came to my table. I had the Goat cheese croquettes! ?? Food Size: food portion was neither small nor large. It was just the right amount ??? Seating options: there are outdoor and indoor seating options available ???? Cleanliness: relatively clean ?? Servers: Were just okay too! ???
