Always loved this place, but today when I ordered extra crispy wings I received an order that was barely cooked. After focusing on the flats since they were slightly more done I finally told the waitress I wasn't satisfied, and reminded her I requested crispy. Even though I told her I suffered through a few peeling off rubbery skin and pulling off some meat, and everyone that my table agreeing with me that they weren't done, she soon returned with only five wings out of 10 and told me they gave her a hard time in the back. I told her it wasn't her fault but that I was going to write this review on Google. This would have never happened under the original owners. Go to Mark's in Simpson for the best wings at the best price because Windor charges 15 bucks and doesn't care about customer satisfaction anymore.
Hot wings are always good, the warsaw casserole is great on the right day I guess. After ordering the casserole many times, this last trip left me upset because usually the pierogies come slathered in sauce and blue cheese and our pierogies were barely covered in either, making the pierogies dry and of questionable quality. I finally got something other than those two on this visit for a main course, and was disappointed. The bbq burger was ok, although way too much bbq sauce to actually attempt to keep my hands clean, at times it felt like all I was tasting was bbq sauce. The nachos were completely not expected and I 'm upset we even ordered them. Our nachos were forgotten about until last minute when our food came out and I was not expecting just a bowl of chips and a side of nacho cheese sauce straight from a can. At a restaurant I expect nachos to have some form of topping, even if it 's just cheese, atleast the cheese is on the chips already and everything is together on a plate, I guess I shouldn 't expect much for the price of them though. If this restaurant gave you free food to pick at while you wait, how some mexican restaurants give chips and salsa, or steak houses give rolls with butter, these nachos would be that food for the Windsor. The baked mac and cheese side that I had with my burger was barely mac and cheese. It was mostly mac, no cheese. Pretty much mac, with milk and it was not baked. There was not a single noodle that was crunchy or in the slightest golden brown, and not mushy. No sign of shredded cheese baked ontop, no actual sauce sticking to the noodles or the sides of the bowl. I was tempted to dip my mac and cheese in the bowl of nacho cheese. Although definitely not mac and cheese from a box, I 'm not sure which I would have preferred because it was bland and only tasted like milk. I have never left this place unsatisfied, but I think it may be a while before I think of going back.
Very good. I haven't been there in quite a while. The wings are better than they used to be. There were good sized and meaty. The extra hot sauce was just that, next time I'll stick to the regular hot sauce. The server was nice, but she was very busy since she had to tend bar and wait tables. I'd go back again.
Enjoyable. First time ever for dinner. Had to try the wings of course. No complaints at all. They were great and would recommend them. Several types of sauce. The pizza is good also. No issues with service and the environment was nice.
