Botica del Cafe

Botica del Cafe is the place you need to discover in a small community. About 30 minutes from the capital Zacatecas. I found this place in Jerez. From the beginning to the end, they immerse themselves in the coffee culture. Your pastries and sandwiches are great and have a high quality. Even if you don't drink coffee at all, it's just an excellent experience to taste teas, coconut and other great drinks.

I just created this account to give this review as this place is an artwork. It is hidden in Jerez Zacatecas, but the coffee is served here excellent!! I know my coffin, but the girls who work here are professionals who led me through my espresso. You're so kind that I felt at home.

So, I was just in Zacatecas for a few days and saw in Tripadvisor that this place was a must. It was strange because it is not in the capital, but we made the trip to Jerez. The place is small and I thought we made a mistake. No. The girls here are PRO. The coffee they make and the muffins are incredible. Everything was delicious.

Cute little café 2 blocks off the main plaza and so worth the visit. Erica and Dulce, the owners, are passionate about coffee, about sourcing coffee from the best growers, brewing coffee and serving coffee. The café offers a full menu of coffee drinks, from a straight Americano to all varieties of espresso drinks, with the customers choice of brewing methods (Cold drip to Italian Moka). They are also committed to fair trade with the growers who provide their coffees and to creating a coffee culture in Mexico. And... they have a nice selection of pastries. A visit to Jerez is not complete without a coffee at La Botica del Cafe

So, we found this little place through friends, and may I say we were delighted. The coffee is really good and coming here is quite an experience. The people that workd here knows a lot (like really A LOT) about coffee; from it's tracking to all the kinds of brewing. They even have the cold tower coffee, a cold brewing method that takes about 8 hours to have the perfect cup of coffee. This was great for me cause I have gastrytis and this method takes away the acid of the coffee.They also have some other beverages, not like the comercial teas or drinks, more like really well thought beverages.One thing I liked is that I not only tasted good things, but also learnt about coffee more than if I went to other coffee shops. It is my fave place in the little town of Jerez.
