Rheinlander German - Jennings Lodge

The food and the atmosphere approximate the Bavarian region of Germany. The walls are beautifully painted to appear as if you are looking out large picture windows at the Alps. The restaurant is broken up into smaller dining areas which keeps the noise level down to a bearable level, even when the place is packed. Strolling musicians in Lederhosen and Bavarian costume play polka on accordions and occasionally sing German tunes. The food is excellent! The price you pay is consistent with the atmosphere and the experience of dining in Europe without the plane ticket. This is the place we go for celebrations and when we are homesick for Germany. The beer and wine selection is extensive. The vegetarian options are limited but delicious (I go with the Polenta), I still go there every chance I get! The best part, in my opinion, is the fondue! They automatically bring out a pot of fondue and pieces of bread (you can order sausage and crab for dipping too). I'll eat here every chance I get!
