Mo’s Seafood And Chowder

As far as the chowder goes, 3 is pretty much dead on. I promised myself to try Mo's on this pass through PDX. The lady who helped me was welcoming and friendly taking my order for one bowl with crackers. Soup comes out immediately from the tureen in back. $8 which is fair for airport prices. It's topped with a generous sprinkle of paprika in a paper bowl with a plastic spoon and 3 packets of saltines. Mo's chowder seems to be the variety that uses flour to thicken and milk for creaminess. If this bowl happened to be the dominant sodium contributor for the day I couldn't taste it. Plenty of clams and potatoes for my taste. It was decent but I think I'll try something else next time or visit one of the locations that inspired the PDX spawn if such a creature exists.

I try to eat here whenever I'm at PDX. The quality in their food is very good unlike most airport restaurants. Friendly service. If you are craving some seafood, eat here. Today I had the tuna melt sandwich it was delicious. The way they toast their bread gave it a nice crisp texture.

Fast, friendly, and tasty options. My family has always loved Mo's chowder and fish and chips. What better way to start our trips with this send-off meal.

Got cod fish and chips at PDX. First three small pieces were ok. Bit into the fourth and I could not bite through it because it was so tough. It was a nasty looking piece of fish. I’m so glad I didn’t swallow any of it.

Delicious food! Made to order. Lots of condiments like tarter (tarter is decent), lemons, ketchup and I believe various hot sauces. Cashier was friendly. Food was priced right. Don't forget to try the Parmesan bread.
