World best sushi!! Also the tempura and agedashi tofu is really good

Some of crazy good sushi. Excellent salads and sashimi. Really clean and simple menu. Nice and helpful staff, even when they are busy and limited on space. It's more of a date spot than a family spot only because space is limited). They are worth the wait if busy. I can't wait to go back.

Great sushi, good quality and for really affordable price

My favorite sushi spot in Portland. Quality is really good and the prices are good as well. The owners are also very sweet and welcoming. My fave nigiri is the creamy spicy scallop and the chirashi.

Food: Definitely captures the homemade Japanese taste! I love how the fish is very fresh the quality for the food is indeed exceptional! Service: Staff are responsive in terms of orders, well mannered, are welcoming! Atmosphere: I always loved visiting to Kashiwagi, give me a nice traditional Mom Pop Sushi bar feeling that captures a Japanese hometown experience, would recommend heavily to those who wish to try sushi for the 1st time!
