Przekaż informację zwrotnąThis is an old building that is showing a bit of wear, but still a nice place to stay if you are forced to be in Portland. The room I had was a huge suite. They are still pretending, like many other hotels, that covid prevents them from servicing your room during your stay. Portland is a scary and creepy place. I have been going there for 20 years and it is descending into a hell of its own making. It's no fault of this hotel, but it is surrounded by drug addicts and really weird people. I was accosted in the afternoon by a large ranting guy weilding an ice axe. Enough said.Safety: The whole area is unsafe, especially at night. Cars will be broken into if there's anything visible inside.
The pool was a let down, the hot tub was under repair and there were no towels both times we went. We asked the front desk many times and no towels ever showed up. Had to drip all the way through the hotel. The pictures hyped it up and it was so disappointing. They don’t clean your room daily and don’t rely on the bathroom amenities, they are either non existent or not great. There was a spot for an iron, but no iron. The parking garage was pretty sketchy and horribly expensive.Location was great, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
Older hotel with lots of history. The homeless are absolutely atrocious. I opened the exit door and slammed one in the back. Our vehicle was burglarized in their parking garage on the last night of our trip. Graffiti all over one of the stairway exits. Got a box thrown at my girlfriend and my dog. Definitely not going to return to this part of Portland
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was one of the very good stays and vacations we had. The hotel is located nicely in downtown and has many places to visit nearby.Their service and cleanliness is 5 stars. The property is made from a nice historic building and it has some nice details about those in the lobby area and other floors too.Even though I would suggest that lighting in rooms can be improved as rooms we stayed in felt very dark in evening time. Also the sofa bed needs to be upgraded for better comfort. As some rooms say they sleep six but the sofa bed in the living room can be good enough for 1 guy only.
Anniversary Vacation ruined by the unexpectedly disappointing Embassy Suites by Hilton. The complete lack of care for a historic property shows throughout. The once meticulous architectural design of the lobby of what was the Multnomah Hotel, is covered in mold, mildew, and dirt. And while the staff provided excellent service, the quality of the property has surely been neglected by the Hilton chain. Clearly, the dynasty's attentions are elsewhere. Would Kathy or Paris Hilton spend the night in their Hotel where blood stains the bathroom lamp shade? While the suite was large, what you would expect in a suite, the decor was outdated and the overall fill of the suite with its emerald green marbled tiled shower with a shower curtain that had seen better days only emphasized the need for renovations. At a price of $241 per night the accommodations were certainly lackluster. The only saving grace for this Hilton property is the staff.
