I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming spot, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.The first thing that struck me about Blue Kangaroo was the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The café itself is bright and airy, with plenty of seating options to suit all types of customers. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee and pastry, or settling in for a leisurely brunch with friends, you'll find everything you need at Blue Kangaroo.Overall, I cannot recommend Blue Kangaroo enough. If you're in the Sellwood area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal or a drink. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent latte with beautiful latte art. Staff is very friendly.

Seems to be understaffed. Came on a Sunday morning and they only had 2 staff members working, one taking orders the other as a barista. I first had to wait 15 minutes to order, then another 20 for my drinks. When my drinks were done they accidentally made one of them incorrect so I had to wait even longer for it to be remade. The barista seemed annoyed rather than apologetic that they messed up. Will go elsewhere for faster and better service as 35+ minutes is crazy for 2 lattes.

What a charming little coffee shop! I love their lavender lattes, and since I now drink decaf, I tried the Blue Kangaroos coffee. It was absolutely fantastic—it had the rich flavor and energizing kick of caffeinated coffee without being overly sweet. Just a heads up, it's a small place with only a few staff members, so the wait time can be longer on weekends. But it's definitely worth it!
