Steakhouse am Johannistor - Jena

Omg, eating was a headbeat. unfortunately I have no pictures to show them (we ate it so fast because it was so good!) the “Filetsteak” is the best! but everything else like the “Tataki” or the “Steakhouse Burger” are so good...to! the personal is about kind and tries to read them from their eyes! I love this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone who loves meat!

The aged rib was fantastic, I asked about well done, but the waiter siad would spoil it and I should go for medium the medium was amazing. I would have liked a little salate, because the salate was very small as the size of the steak. but the focus is on the steak and that was amazing.

This place is really authentic and qualitatiw high quality food. the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have no German and they were very patient to help me with a translation. there are many gluten-free things on the menu. I am back.

Überdurchschnittliche Preise, es stank überall nach Zigaretten, das Fleisch war alt und etwas zäh.........nix für uns gewesen, die Toiletten haben schlecht gerochen, der versuch draussen vor dem Lokal zu sitzen ist uns durch die Autoabgase und den Lärm der Auto vermiesst worden......na ja war halt nix......Amy

Wie im Titel schon geschrieben: Die Steaks sind tatsächlich richtig lecker! Perfekt nach Wunsch auf dem Grill zubereitet.Das Ambiente erinnert mehr an eine Studentenkneipe als an ein Restaurant. Gerade hierzu wollen die aufgerufenen - sehr selbstbewussten - Preise nicht passen. Denn alles andere als Steaks ist dann leider Durchschnitt.
