Tortuga Jacks - JEKYLL ISLAND

This restaurant is fantastic, featuring a stunning view of the beach. I attempted to bring my family here during our last visit, but they weren't interested. However, when we finally went this time, they loved the food and drinks so much that they're eager to return, just two days after our last visit! I told them how delicious the buffalo wings were, and after trying them, they were big fans. My brother-in-law was so impressed with the chili cheese fries that he looked up the nearest Tortuga Jacks, only to find out it’s three hours away on Jekyll Island. As a result, we’re planning a day trip next weekend largely because of Tortuga Jacks. My younger sister ordered the Fresh Mex Bowl and enjoyed it, along with her mixed drink. Although I don't drink, they offer a variety of alcoholic and mixed drinks for those who do. The staff is absolutely wonderful—very friendly and accommodating. If you have a dog, they are welcome too, and they have dog bowls placed around the outdoor area for your furry friends. How great is that? I highly recommend visiting to enjoy the lovely outdoor setting and beautiful view at Tortuga Jacks. They also have live bands performing from time to time. The place is well-kept and tidy.

Great view great food excellent, friendly people! We're coming back! Our server friend (outside the bar by the sea) said he was from Mexico. He said he could make her shrimp friend for me (grilled only on the menu). He made the best drinks and was fun. Thank you for a great experience!!

We decided to enjoy a Friday night margarita and some great food on the deck! The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the food was tasty! #shutupanddrinkyourmargarita

We had a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly. After deciding against the service at the Beach House Bar nearby, we found this gem. There was live music, delicious food, and a young, energetic team that really enhanced our evening. It’s also kid-friendly and offers a fantastic view of the sea! I highly recommend this place for a fun night during your vacation or simply to enjoy a great meal and unwind.

We were just in the area for the evening to hit up the beach. This is in a great location. We brought our almost two year old son and he got something stuck in his throat and was choking. We quickly took him out of his seat and went into the other room to pat his back. Our waitress and bartender were very thoughtful and supportive. They were quick to get our son a rag to clean up his mouth and a balloon to cheer him up. The food was great too. I had the premium margarita and then the house margarita. Both very good. I wish I lived closer and could come to the beach when it's a little warmer and then hit this place up when it's nice on the patio. Thanks again for taking care of us and the kiddo!
