The staff was very accommodating of our vegan preferences and we sampled a variety of dishes including pancakes, bibimbap, and glutinous rice. The food was delicious and the vegetables were fresh.
The lovely garden path leading to the entrance, with its traditional wooden atmosphere, sets the tone for a delightful dining experience. The lotus rice dish was served with plenty of ban chan.
Based on the reviews, I had higher expectations for this restaurant. Firstly, be cautious with the kimchi as we specifically requested no fish due to being vegan, but it still arrived on the table twice. Secondly, the food was mostly bland except for the pancakes, which we enjoyed but found lacking in salt, and the server refused to bring any. Additionally, the quantity of pancakes varied each time we visited, with 9 the first time, 12 the second time, and only 8 when we ordered for takeaway. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant and suggest trying Asalam instead.
The food is delicious and served quickly. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.
This is our third visit to this restaurant in 4 years, and we have never been disappointed. It is a great spot for enjoying traditional local vegetarian dishes. The menu is continuously updated based on feedback from previous visitors, as reviewed on 2022-07-01 during their visit to Jeju.
