Off The Hook - Jefferson City

Food is great! Our new favorite place on the water. We don't have a boat, but we love to visit restaurants by the water. We were here twice until I loved what I ordered. We first came to our anniversary dinner on a Friday night. The place was full. We waited 45 minutes to sit, but it's worth it. We had dinner at sunset.

This afternoon we ate in Off the Hook. We ate in this restaurant by several owners. We are always disappointed with restaurant management. Waiting times were long, food delivery longer. Food was often cooked or cold. As friends suggested we meet tonight, we agreed that we haven't eaten here since the new property. Finally, the owners understand the place, the selection and organization of the food. There was no waiting time at all. Our server Alex was excellent. She was friendly, efficient and engaged with us. Interestingly, Alex could do everything up quickly. Our food was perfect for the Seeplatz. The band was good, but not so loud that we couldn't talk. What a pleasant surprise, we will often be back. We live at the Cherokee lake, so this is exactly the fun leisure place we like to eat and bring friends: family. I should mention that Ashton helped Alex get our food. She is also a fortune for Off the Hool,

We were immediately surprised. The food that is baked with hand is just that, hand-baked. The onion rings were proof of it and very tasty. My wife enjoyed her fish tacos. The Butch Burger was very, very tasty. Listening live music, sitting on an open deck and having some delicious food and drinks is a great way to spend a Friday night. The restaurant has a great view of the Cherokee Lake. Service is fast and friendly. We would definitely return, especially if friends continue to play music there.

Great view that you sit outside, we didn't see the interior as you can sit out of the deck, the environment was great. You will see a boat docking station and the beautiful lake view peers back to you. The onion rings and appetizer (we tried the beer cheese with sprouts) was topnotch. The burger was good, but it was missing to season on the meat and was a Ted dry, but overall it was a good experience. 8.1 to 1/10

Great atmosphere with great food! Very pretty view of the sunset over the marina. The old bay wings were awesome and they even let me get all flats! Chicken tenders were good as well.
