The Capon Tree Townhouse - Jedburgh

We recently stayed at The Capon Tree for 2 nights and really liked it. The hotel is stylishly decorated, as was our room. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. The bar is really attractive and service was excellent. Dinner is the high point; the food...was wonderful, and for the quality, very reasonably priced as was the wine. (One slight quibble: I understand the reasons for the breakfast hamper, but surely in a hotel so imaginative and tasteful, the contents of the hamper could be improved

Only one word OUTSTANDING Stayed for 1 night on way to Stirling to celebrate daughters birthday. Room immaculate. Food unreal I felt like a judge on Masterchef Value for money absolutely we’ve paid the same and more in pubs !!!! We will be back thank...you to all the very hard working staff

The atmosphere is great, the service is fantastic, the cocktails are to die for! The food is amazing, this restaurant is a must-visit!

We visited this restaurant in August and had a wonderful time. Last night, on our way to a holiday home in Duns, we stopped in mainly for dinner and were not disappointed. The food was stunning and we want to thank Alistair for his excellent service. We also appreciated the complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were very attentive and the overall experience was fantastic. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

I had an incredible evening at the Kaponenbaum. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, with a clean and cozy bed. The attention to detail was evident, with a plush bathrobe and a coffee machine provided. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. The cocktails were fantastic and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.
