Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge

We never thought that this little oasis would deliver such a great experience. Front desk team were exceptional and so engaging and enthusiastic about the area. The rooms were basic log cabin type but very clean and fresh. The restaurant and its quality of food was brilliant, a little pricey but such a welcome to road tripping fast food. The restaurant staff were excellent in every way. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Oh and the sunsets are brilliant.

There is very little choice on sunwapta, so not much incentive for improving the motel. It's pretty basic and in need of refurbishment but if you just need a place to stay it is functional. The granola breakfast buffet bar is good and surprisingly reasonable price-wise. Make sure you get a room on the top floor as ground floor rooms are very noisy.

Stayed for one night. Check in was smooth, and staff was nice.- Room had a fireplace, but it went out after lit and had to walk to the office to get it re-lit. - Room was clean but a little old. The bed was comfy- Restaurant was good, but expensive as its the only place around. Decent place to stay for the price if you're looking to get a jump on the trip into lake Louise or to Jasper.

Two couples stayed 2 nights at Sunwapta, having had real problems getting anywhere in or near Jasper. We didn't realise how far from Jasper it was (45 minute drive) but we are really glad that we found it.The cabins were fairly basic and we thought a bit too expensive but they were clean and a fire would be lit in the cabin if you asked.The restaurant was great.The falls themselves are only a few minutes walk away and are beautiful. Well worth the visit.

We had a brilliant meal at Sunwapta. The beef was aged on site, the fish cooked to perfection and the entrees that we shared the last morsels were fought over. The customer service is outstanding for all facets here whether it be at breakfast, dinner, or accommodation! Taylors port to finish the meal and we were all in heaven.
