Przekaż informację zwrotnąI've been on the Pocahontas for almost 20 years, so it goes without saying that I have eaten my fair part of the times. I never enjoyed the food or the overall experience; even if you are not a...guest, I would recommend to go there, especially for a nice day of hiking then up at hired.
After visiting the hot springs, we decided to stop at this restaurant and we were blown away by the amazing food. The French fries were the freshest I have ever had. I ordered the Chicken Fingers and Fries, while my girlfriend had the Classic Steak Sandwich and Fries. The gravy that came with the fries was delicious, and the service was also very friendly. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely come back here for a fantastic lunch or dinner.
During two mornings, we enjoyed delicious and generous portions of eggs Croissant and an Egg 'burrito' served with house-style fried potatoes and fruits at the restaurant. Each dish was approximately $14C. The yogurt and fruits served on the side were also delicious and nicely portioned. Our servers, who were from the Czech Republic and South Korea, were attentive and had interesting stories to share. The restaurant also offers a large breakfast buffet, open to all guests, including those staying in the cabins. In addition to breakfast, the restaurant serves dinner, although we didn't have the chance to try it. The servers even have their countries of origin listed on their name plates, adding a unique touch to the dining experience.
This restaurant is a great stop right off Highway 16 at the base of Rentte. They serve the best steak sandwich I've ever had, made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant has a rustic mountain vibe and the waiters are very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be stopping here again.
I've been staying at the Pocahontas almost every year for almost 20 years now so it goes without saying I've eaten there my fair share of times. Never once have I not enjoyed either the food or the overall experience; even if you're not a guest I'd recommend going there, especially to cap off a nice day of hiking then up at Miette.
