Fiddle River - Jasper

A restaurant on the second floor and facing the mountains! The lights are dimmed, there is plenty of artwork on the walls, and there is a woodsy look to the place. Service was amazing and food delicious!

Absolute gem of a dinner spot with a beautiful mountain view!! The ambiance is romantic with dim lights and candles. The bread was slightly under proofed but seasoned with delicious herbs. Started with the smoked salmon with horseradish whipped cream to whet our appetite. Continued with the fiddle fish pot, which was tasted super fresh with high quality ingredients and generous serving. The elk stroganoff was braised to perfection and really satiated. Overall we loved our dinner and would highly recommend it.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at Fairmont Jasper Lodge, and it was delicious! It’s upstairs above another restaurant, and the view of the mountains and train are pretty neat. The service was amazing and the atmosphere is cozy inside, with an outside patio too. I had the fish pot, which was recommended to me by concierge, and it was wonderful don’t miss out on this dish! My husband had the halibut which he really liked as well. Good portion sizes. I recommend making a reservation, as they can get busy.

Had a terrific family meal while on a stop in Jasper. We saw the other reviews and were keen to try the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the food which is based on local ingredients which was really welcome after several days of international cuisine. The staff were lovely and we’d highly recommend.

Amazing food and service ! Definitely 5 stars. Everything our family of 6 ordered was superb. The mussels with cheese sauce my personal favorite. Pam, our waitress, was excellent and made our dinner even more special . Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant in Jasper with beautiful views !
