Alishan Organic Center - Japan

Even though I am not a vegan and do not prioritize organic food, I must give this restaurant a 5-star rating. The service was very polite and incredibly fast. My group of 13 was all served within 20 minutes, which was impressive. The prices were also reasonable, especially considering the variety on the menu. Despite expecting small portions, the food was satisfying. I tried the soup, which was not canned or overly salty- though not my favorite, it deserves 5 stars. My friends ordered the vegan curry and pizza, both of which looked delicious.

I had lunch at a table on the terrace with great airflow, which is a highlight of this restaurant! I ordered a delicious vegetable curry and a soy chai with beans. The dishes were a bit spicy and satisfying. The salad was served with a tangy dressing and tasted fantastic. They also have an organic shop where you can purchase items to enjoy at home. I bought a vegetable curry roux and can't wait to try it out.

It is a shop where you can eat vegan and vegetarian dishes. The atmosphere is good and the ventilation is amazing, so you can come with great peace!

I LOVE THIS PLACE !! It’s a perfect day trip from Tokyo. You can take the train to Koma station, go hike the nearby mountain and come down to have a wonderful healthy vegetarian meal at Alishan Cafe. Honestly, I would call it vegetarian heaven ! The food was amazing. I had the cheese hotdog set, the sausage is vegan and the pumpkin soup was so delicious!! They also have a store that sells so many healthy food products including vegan meat, organic peanut butter, lots of different nuts etc. It’s located next to a river and you can go play in the river after/before eating as well. I saw kids jumping off the bridge into the river (it was pretty shallow). Unfortunately they don’t except credit cards or e-payments yet so be sure to carry a lot of cash ! I wanted to buy some stuff from the store but couldn’t because I didn’t have much cash on me
