The pork taco wasn't my favorite, as it felt like more of an acquired taste. I also tried a torta (sandwich) with chorizo, and it was fantastic—the bread was perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. The large horchata was very good as well, but it was huge—probably enough for two people to share. When we went to pay, the woman at the counter was friendly and provided us with great information.
This restaurant is off to a fantastic start in its current location. We tried the unique Oaxacan dish, a tlayuda, which is a large, crispy tortilla topped with cheese, cauliflower, and avocado slices. We also enjoyed the cecina, a tender smoked Mexican meat. Additionally, we had a barbacoa taco that was loaded with fresh toppings and delicious meat. The horchata was fantastic! Everything we had was delicious, even the complimentary chips served with black bean dip and tasty salsas. The young woman who served us was friendly and attentive. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality justifies it. Definitely worth a visit!
I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and engages in great conversations. The food is authentic, homemade, and truly delicious! I highly recommend supporting unique small businesses like Delicias La Oaxaqueña!
Delicious tacos—definitely the best we've found in town. The double corn tortillas are impressive, and there's a generous amount of meat. The steak was fantastic, but the chorizo and barbacoa were simply outstanding! We can't wait to return. A lot!
Charming little restaurant with excellent service and delicious food.
