A good place to walk, jog or play cricket or football. Allows all people to play but only till 9a.m and then from 4 or 5 p.m they allow people to again continue their activities. It's a ground of Jamnagar ayurved University.
This is a ground in the campus of ITRA, meant for promoting and facilitating the activities like outdoor sports and games basically in the students and staff of the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA). Previously, it used to be under the control of Gujarat Ayurved University. It is a wonderful open space, of approximately 2 acres, right in the heart of the city and people often use it as an evening strolling spot or as a morning walk track. It also becomes a training place and playground for school children and upcoming sport persons of the city during early morning and evening hours. Many tournaments of local level and Governent hosted sports programmes are organized here, though it does not have a pavilion or other basic facilities needed to be termed as a sports ground in a strict sense. The only drawback of this ground is that if there is a heavy rain, the water gets logged, filling the ground and remains there till absorbed by the earth, making it useless for its purpose.
