No matter what time of day I come here, the food always taste fresh. Seasoned well. Expectations exceeded.Food: 5/5

My bf is currently staying in Queen NY for work for a few months. It was midnight and he was hungry for anything that reminded him from back home down south. I saw this place and I said well we can try this. I have never been a fan of catfish and down south they love it. He ordered it along with mac n cheese and some collard greens. It was a take our order via uber. I couldn’t believe how goood every was for it to be a late night order. We ordered this meal a little after midnight. We didn’t know what to expect considering it to be so late. Can I say the catfish was probably the best catfish I ever had with so much flavor I felt like I was in food heaven. So kudos to this restaurant! We will definitely be ordering from here again!

Really enjoyed the food from Rochdale Chicken and Fish. The food was a good portion and the flavor was on point. My family had shrimp and grits, baked chicken with collard greens and yams, Mac and cheese. Delicious. We ate everything. I've only had their fried fish before. And that deserves 5 stars by itself.Definitely recommend if you're in the neighborhood. I don't think there's anything you shouldn't try. It's worth it.

Tried the oxtail dinner tonight for 1st time and I'm sorry but it was trash for $20. I should have taken a pic of that mess. They give you a mountain high pile of sides. The Mash potatoes piled up sky high to the top of the lid also the collard greens as well just a big mound. Then the greens juice spilling all outside the to-go plate all into the plastic bag Smh. Then on the other side you see this minimal amount of oxtail Smh. To say the least it's not even about the quantity of meat. What about quality. The meat wasn't falling off the bone at all. I shouldn't have to fight with the oxtail meat to chew it off the bone Smh. That could have stayed cooking a little longer Smh. Nevertheless I will not dare try that again. I will stick to my fish grits which is right next door to this establishment. Thanks but no thanks
