Herbivore - Jakarta

I was hoping for a great experience at this restaurant, but I was a bit let down. The menu has options that are not naturally vegan or vegetarian, such as lamb, shrimp, beef, chicken, and fish. I was confused by the fact that it was labeled as a vegetarian place. The quality of the food could be better, as well as the taste and ambiance. Overall, the food is average and doesn't leave a strong impression.

We ordered the sate padang, gado gado, and mie, and everything was delicious! The seating is outdoors, which is perfect for those who want to try food from different stalls/restaurants, especially in a group with mixed preferences. The menu is extensive with many clearly labeled vegan options (V or VO), and I wish we could have tried more. The photos I uploaded only show a portion of the menu. We waited approximately 25 minutes with a group of 5 on a Tuesday night, so be aware that the restaurant may not be ideal for larger groups.
