Timoti's Seafood Shack - Jacksonville

I visited this restaurant for lunch on June 16, 2022, and I'm so glad it showed up on my Google Maps suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant itself was clean and bright, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Everything is made to order, and my meal was served both hot and quickly. The portion sizes were generous, offering excellent value for the money, and I definitely left feeling satisfied! One unexpected highlight was the hush puppies; they were perfectly fried to a crisp, golden exterior while being light, fluffy, and not greasy on the inside. I also appreciated having the option of unsweetened iced tea!

Fresh seafood served in a casual, laid-back setting, and the kids can enjoy playing on a pirate ship! I tried the snapper with chimichurri sauce and a cucumber salad – it was incredibly refreshing and delicious!

I wasn’t a fan of the sangria as it tasted a bit artificial, but they graciously swapped it for vodka and lemonade, which was delicious (and they mentioned it was gluten-free vodka). The service was excellent, both when ordering inside and when they brought our meals to the table! If you want to sit at an outside picnic table, I recommend arriving early, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. Let me know if the food meets your expectations—I can say it definitely exceeded mine!

First time I came here it was pretty ordinary. Wife wanted to go have it another go and it was a home run. The tacos where full and shrimp was perfectly blackened.

Awesome poké bowl. Terrible fried green tomatoes. The coconut rice, ahi tuna and ginger soy were delicious. Fast, friendly service at affordable prices. The fried green tomatoes were covered in a sweet pepper sauce, a horrible combination- totally ruins the tangy, salty goodness unique to fried green tomatoes. The batter by itself tasted a little sweet too. Not good.
