Secret Garden Cafe - Jacksonville

What a great little place! Odd about the small town of Cafe Vibe- but in a strip-mall in Jax. I want the sought-after full-fledged breakfast lunch, skip the chain restaurants and go to these beautiful peeps. Collector's supporters from local business last minute buyers can buy a cute Secret Garden coffee cup for just $5.

Secret little whole in a wall type place w/ srumptious food. Great waiting. Black bean soup was delicious. We have the fried green tomatoes appetizer, the fried green tomatoes half~salad and the fried green tomatoes on his eggs~Benedikt. The jam sauce is so delightful w/ the taste of tomatoes and they keep their crumbs. Thanks Angela. We'll be back.

Hidden jewel! Friendly staff, good food! Had the eggs benedict, right, and the sauce was right. The main seating area is clean and airy. Very nice. Will be back with friends? (Totally forgot to take photos. My mistake. Next time)

My husband and I wanted to make Easter brunch, so we decided to try this jewel of a place. We definitely made the right choice! The service was fantastic. Our server Yury was very friendly and polite. Let's talk about food. Before you do this earth, you must have their caramel pinan waffles! They're the little skies. The balance between cinnamon butter and caramel sauce is pure perfection! You don't need a syrup, just a nap from eating all these delicacies.... Back to Brunch today Sunday??

The Secret Garden Cafe is located on Beach Blvd. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable of the menu. I got the fried green tomatoes, the tomatoes were over fried, also the batter was rather thick. I did enjoy both dipping sauces. The biscuit and gravy was my absolute favorite. I just wish it would have came out hot. The kids menu had a nice selection and my daughter enjoyed the waffles with bacon. The cinnamon butter was savory. I love that they have honey as an option for the waffles and pancakes. I will definitely be back because the menu has a lot of interesting entrees that I want to try.
