When we called the restaurant to address our complaint, the person handling our call insisted it was beef. How could she know without trying it herself? It was definitely lamb. Additionally, they've changed their meat preparation method, now chopping it instead of cutting it into strips as they used to. Instead of acknowledging our concern, they argued that it had to be beef, even though all three of us tasted lamb. Whatever happened to asking customers for their feedback and accepting mistakes? This is the reality of the post-Covid world, where we often need to double-check food orders due to frequent errors. Your customer traffic was low that night, and unfortunately, you lost a regular customer—not just because of the mistake, but also because of the poor customer service and support.
This was the best circle I’ve ever had, and the fresh fruit platter was a delightful surprise!
I usually have a great experience at this restaurant, but I always dine in. This time, I ordered takeout and got a Greek salad. When I got home, I discovered it didn’t come with the Greek dressing, so I had to eat it dry, which felt like something was missing. To make matters worse, the girl almost forgot to include my hummus and pita chips. I'm really disappointed that such simple items were overlooked.
That was the best meal I had in a long time. perfectly seasoned. the Tazikis sauce hit her out of the park. overall the meal was a 10/10 together with amazing service. Zwinger gray has shown us really amazing service. I and my family felt very welcome.
I've never been to a Mediterranean cafe, the atmosphere at first glance is really quite nice. It looks cozy and friendly. The people who took my order were friendly as well and I didn't have any issues. I tried the lamb gyro meal, it cost around $12 for the gyro, chips, and a side. I chose pasta salad. The pasta salad was probably my favorite part, it was zingy but good. The gyro, was ok. It was chewy and flavor wasn't strong. For some reason I think this is a close reminder of what a fast food Mediterranean would feel like. Maybe. I've had really good gyros and this really doesn't hold a candle to them. It was edible and really that was all. The chips were plain potato chips, they were good, I suppose. I think the worst part of the experience was the smell though. I couldn't quite recall exactly what it was but I kept getting flashbacks when I used to work for a hotel cooking crew, where we would have dirty floors and food all over the place. It reminded me of that. It was a little dirty, tables weren't cleaned off. But it wasn't super dirty. It just had a weird smell. The place looks nice at a glance but close up it's a little meh. I do love Mediterranean food so I'm a little sad I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted.
