Everything is always fresh and nothing has ever looked like it 's been dying in the kitchen for hours, on low heat. Went last night, craving fish tacos. Now, the flavor of the baja fish tacos, was spot on. At $4.49 each, they were a bit light. I had two, and I left without having that nice, full feeling I usually have. If they had two of the tacos, with rice and beans for that same $9, that would be a nice meal, or make them $2.99 each. Like I said, the flavor was, as always, outstanding! Their chips and salsa are delish. Chips are served fresh and hot. I still give them FIVE STARS, as they have been consistently clean and the food, delicious. The theme of the restaurant 's decor, is an homage to Mexican wrestling, with beautifully done murals and figures, yet without coming across as garish. The seating and non mural areas are colors of pink, blue and yellow, which give it a cheery, patio feeling. This is not a dark and dreary type of restaurant and is family friendly. If you like margaritas, they have a good selection of flavors. i haven 't had any, because I can 't finish a margarita by myself, but they look amazing!
It's tons of fun for a quick meal with a post meeting or sporting events party! Food is pretty good and the Micheladas are so yummy!
Not Autism friendly So I went here today during a non rush hour time. I looked inside the restaurant first not busy 3 tables inside in about three tables outside. I waited over five minutes for the hostess to complete helping another customer, while I waited several time the wait staff passed byI had my autistic son with me who was being vocal but not loud place has music on) after being stared at by what appeared to be either the manager or the kitchen manager and older male after being stared at by what appeared to be either the manager or the kitchen manager and older male I was then seated by a waitress who allowed me to to pick a booth in back , she gave everyone menus and that’s it. Someone dropped off chips and salsa, and six minutes went by and still no sign of the waitress at which point I had to leave because my son was getting agitated because he wanted a cup of water but nobody to ask. Unfortunately they definitely are not special needs friendly, and staff needs to be trained about not staring at people who are different
After spending time in Texas as well as southern California, it's been a struggle to find really good Mexican food. This place is it. From the homemade salsa to the beef, chicken, and cheese enchiladas, everything was on point! The staff is amazing, friendly, competent, and professional. We're definitely coming back!Food: 5/5
When it opened several years ago, this was an excellent restaurant. Sadly, the food quality and especially the service has gone steadily downhill. There 's little consistency in food taste now and service is even worse. Tonight we were seated in 15 minutes and told a server would be with us shortly . Had we known shortly meant no one would even approach our table to take our order, let alone being us drinks, for 20 more minutes, we would have left earlier. 35 mins. and no customer service is unacceptable and we suggest finding another restaurant.
